What to do the day before the California bar exam?

Many of you might be asking yourself this question: What should I be doing the day before the bar exam? Here is what we suggest. In the morning you should do a light, but thorough review of your checklists for all subjects. Focus the latter half of your review on the predicted subjects. Review your checklists and be confident in your issue spotting abilities. We recommend that you conclude studying at 3:00 p.m., at the latest.

Consider spending the rest of the afternoon relaxing, hit the jacuzzi, go for a swim, go to dinner, go for a light run, etc. At this point in time, trust yourself in that you have all the knowledge stored in your brain. You have worked through hundreds, if not thousands of MBE questions. You have written and issue spotted numerous essays for each subject. You have a game plan for each essay subject – you have a solid framework of how you are going to organize your essay. You know how you are going to headnote and underline issues to make it easier for the bar grader.

Hence, take the evening before the bar exam to really reflect on how much work and effort you have put in during these last few months. Be confident in your abilities and study tactics throughout the course of your bar prep. You have earned this! Your have paid your dues – it’s time to go get what is yours.
